“Designing for tomorrow”

Ken Shuttleworth, is recognised as one of the world’s leading architects and has worked on many groundbreaking landmarks during his 40-year career. In 2004, he founded Make Architects, an international employee-owned practice with a reputation for design excellence. He is Senior Vice President of the British Council for Offices and in 2013 set up the Future Spaces Foundation to advance research into sustainable cities. Ken will be sharing his views on designing buildings and spaces that are appropriate for now as well as for the long term, a balance which has been historically difficult to achieve.
