ULI Asia Pacific and ULI Australia announce the start of the 2018 ULI Urban Innovation Ideas Competition. The Melbourne 2018 Urban Innovation Ideas Competition builds upon the success of the past competitions in Sydney (2015), Brisbane (2016), and Hong Kong (2017).

The Initiative is an ongoing focus on ULI in Australia and the annual competition explores solutions to topical and timely issues or projects relevant to successful urbanisation of our cities.

The Urban Innovation Initiative prize will result in the winning entrant or team being invited to present at the 2019 ULI Asia Pacific Summit in Shanghai.

The competition focuses on the importance of creating great urban places to add social, cultural, economic and ecological value.

The competition will aim to:

• Stimulate ideas on city making
• Provide a platform for under 35’s
• Promote ULI’s mission to “provide leadership in responsible land use”
• Remain consistent with ULI’s ongoing dedication to fostering tomorrow’s leaders
