Submission Process

 

STEP 1 – REGISTER YOUR TEAM 

STEP 2 – YOU WILL BE EMAILED A UNIQUE DROPBOX LINK & REGISTRATION ID

STEP 3 – SUBMIT YOUR IDEA

 

All entries are to be submitted via the unique dropbox link provided to you upon registration no later than

Stage 1:           23 September 2018, 11:59pm AEST

Stage 2:           22 October 2018, 11:59pm AEST

Please note that ULI will not take any responsibility regarding any techinical issues on parts of entrants.

Anonymity

Aside from the Registration ID all entries must be submitted without any marks, logos, insignia, or writing on the display surfaces that identify their authorship. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to disqualification.

Entrants / teams must not communicate with the jury about the Competition in any way until a public announcement of the winners is made, unless contacted by the jury and/or competition organisers to provide feedback at the end of Stage 1 or Stage 2. Any entrant / team or juror found in violation of this rule will be disqualified.

Entrants / teams will be required to register for the Competition, which will not be seen by the jury. Once the jury has finished their deliberations, and the determination made as to the awards by the jury, names of the competitors may be revealed to the jury.

Criteria for Judging & Submission Requirements

ULI strives to conduct a thorough, fair, and rigorous jury evaluation process. Teams should consider the realistic constraints on and limitations of the jury.  As a general rule, teams should make their presentations as clear and easy to understand as possible given the large number of submissions and the limited time the jury has to review them.

Please note the jury may use additional criteria in making their final decisions.

Stage 1: Submission Requirements

All entries will include the following:

> 2 x landscape A3 print resolution .pdf file (5mb maximum file size)
> 500 word (maximum) description of your proposal submitted as a .doc or .pdf file
> 1 x maximum 30 second video (720p mp4 file, encoding to comply with YouTube)

All entries are to be uploaded to the unique DropBox folder provided to you upon registering no later than 11:59pm AEST (GMT+10) on the date nominated under Submission Dates unless otherwise noted.

All uploads are time stamped and late submissions will not be accepted

Submitted material will be marked in accordance with the Anonymity Clause.

Stage 2: Submission Requirements

All entries will include the following:

>10 x landscape A3 .pdf slide presentation outlining your proposal and response to the assessment criteria
> 1 x landscape A3 .pdf file (5mb maximum file size) of your proposal to express your vision
> 4 x landscape A3 .pdf file (5mb maximum file size) of your proposal to detail your Urban Innovation
> 1000 word (maximum) description of your proposal submitted as a .doc or .pdf file
All entries are to be uploaded via the unique DropBox link provided to you from Stage 1 no later than 11:59pm AEST (GMT+10) on the date nominated under Submission Dates unless otherwise noted.

All uploads are time stamped and late submissions will not be accepted

Submitted material will be marked in accordance with the Anonymity Clause.
