ULI Asia Pacific and the Jakarta Property Institute (JPI) have signed a memorandum of understanding to partner on research and publications, and share knowledge through joint programmes and events. The partnership will more closely connect the industry networks of both institutes.
The ULI-JPI MOU was signed by Professor Khoo Teng Chye, Chairman of ULI Asia Pacific and Husodo Angkosubroto, Vice Chairman of the Jakarta Property Institute in Singapore.
The partnership is a regional cooperation to exchange ideas, information, experiences, and best practices that support efforts in building cities in Indonesia that are resilient, inclusive, vibrant and sustainable. Both organisations recognise the need to share the results of project-based research and innovative strategies in sustainable land use and development that will positively impact the future of cities in Indonesia.
“It is such an honour to witness this momentous collaboration of ULI and JPI,” said Professor Khoo, chair of ULI Asia Pacific. “The creation of this partnership brings many opportunities for knowledge sharing, ultimately helping us to deliver our mission to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.”
“Indonesia’s economy is robust. The signing formalises our existing partnership which has already brought about exchanges of inspiring ideas. Being affiliated with ULI would allow Indonesian players to tap into the knowledge repository of the largest real estate network in the world. This collaboration would in turn help us build a more vibrant and liveable Jakarta.” said Husodo Angkosubroto, Vice Chairman of the Jakarta Property Institute.
