Paul’s role is to set the strategy, identify and form strategic partnerships, and lead customer experience and transformation for the Commercial Property business at Mirvac. This business covers Retail, Office, Industrial and Build-to-Rent. In his previous role leading Workplace Experiences, he prepared the business for the future of work, workers and workplace. He is committed to identifying future trends, challenges and opportunities for both Mirvac and our customers, forming partnerships, relationships, growing capability and knowledge within the business to ensure Mirvac is prepared. Paul is a serial entrepreneur founding two start-ups within Mirvac, Hoist a flexible space business and Mirvac Energy a renewables business. Paul has written several papers on smart precincts and leads the digital strategy for Mirvac O&I division. Paul previously spent over 20 years setting and delivering sustainability strategy in Australia, EU and Asia, and was responsible for Mirvac’s “This Changes Everything” plan.

Gensler
As the Regional Managing Principal for Greater China, Xiaomei leads Gensler’s growth and development in the region, spearheading the best in design excellence strategies across the firm’s diverse practice areas. With close to 30 years of architectural and design experience, she has directed many prominent projects, often on a complex scale, spanning urban design and master planning, tall building architecture, renewal and repositioning, mixed use, retail, hospitality, education, health and wellness, art and culture and most recently sports.
Notable in this portfolio is Xiaomei’s leadership in delivering China’s tallest building, a landmark on the city’s skyline today, the renowned and highly awarded 632-meter-high Shanghai Tower. Throughout her career, her client-centric approach and deep understanding of local context, paired with broad knowledge of international standards of delivery has been instrumental in the growth of our Greater China practice, and in shaping the Shanghai hub office as a design innovation center.
In recognition of her strategic business leadership, Xiaomei serves on the Gensler Board of Directors and Global Management Committee and is actively involved in advancing Gensler’s Tall Building practice. Industry accolades have also followed her. In 2020 Xiaomei was appointed a Global Governing Trustee for the Urban Land Institute (ULI). She is an active member of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) and was a juror at their CTBUH 2019 Tall + Urban Innovation Global Awards. Xiaomei is the Vice Chairwoman of the Committee on High-rise Habitat Environment of the Architectural Society of China. Xiaomei is highly regarded in the industry as an innovative leader in her own right and continues to be a popular keynote speaker and panelist.

With a background in engineering and design having provided a leadership role in a number of leading international consultancies and global multinational companies in the UK, Hong Kong and Australia, Ricky Wells oversees the design and portfolio expansion of the Executive Centre’s global portfolio of over 150+ Centres.
As the Global Design and Development Director at The Executive Centre, Ricky has overseen the successful evolution and elevation of TEC’s design standards which has contributed the reinforcement of the company’s global presence and positioning as APAC’s leading premium flexible workspace provider. Under Ricky’s design leadership, TEC’s workspaces and offices have seen technical improvements in infrastructure, aesthetic design, technology, energy use, sustainability, security and engineering standards. To date, he has successfully delivered over 70+ new APAC locations to TEC’s global footprint.
Ricky aspires to ensure TEC continues to set the corporate real estate industry benchmark for innovative, premium and functional office spaces that match the ever-evolving needs and wants of today’s professionals and the future.
