Jinglei Chen

Jinglei Chen is the Managing Director and Founding member of BEI Capital. She is responsible for real estate private lending and value added investment strategy, execution and capital raising. Previously, she was with Grosvenor Asia. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president in the Private Market Investment Department of China Investment Corporation with primary responsibilities of sourcing, underwriting and executing direct real estate investments and co-investments. She previously held various positions at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York. Ms. Chen holds a BS with Peking University and an MS with Northeastern University and. She is also a CFA® charterholder.

Joyce Liang is a Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific Credit Research in BofAML and covers Asia Credit Strategy. Prior to assuming the role of credit strategist in 2016, she was a credit analyst focusing on China high-yield property developers and China state-owned entities. Since joining the bank in 2006, Liang has covered various asset classes, including auto and credit card ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CDO and property derivatives in the non-Japan Asia/Australia structured finance markets. The Asia Credit Research team ranked No.1 in the Credit Strategy category of the Institutional Investor (All-Asia) Research Survey 2019, 2018 and 2017, and has maintained a Top-3 ranking since the survey started. She ranked No.1 in Top Strategists & Economists in Asian G3 bonds by Asset for 2018 and 2019. Key regular research publications are Asia Credit Survey, Model Portfolio, Monday Morning Ideas, China Onshore Credit Bond Monthly and Asia Credit Strategy. Liang has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Bath and a Master’s degree in Finance from CASS Business School. She is based in Hong Kong. Bryan Southergill

Bryan T. Southergill (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2013 and is a member of the real estate team. He has led the build out of the Asia real estate investing platform and is responsible for advancing KKR’s Asia real estate investment strategy. He sits on KKR’s Asia Real Estate Investment Committee, KKR’s Asia Real Estate Portfolio Management Committee and KKR’s India Real Estate Non-Bank Finance Company Investment Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Southergill was managing director and head of Asia real estate investing in J.P. Morgan’s global special opportunities group, where he led its proprietary, special situations-style, real estate investing business in Asia. Prior to that, he was deputy head of Asia real estate investment banking at Morgan Stanley. During his time at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Southergill was based in New York, London and Hong Kong, and had responsibility for both real estate investing projects and corporate finance advisory mandates in the United States, Europe and Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College. Mr. Southergill serves on the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) Hong Kong Chapter Board and is a full member of the Urban Land Institute, where he sits on the Asia Pacific Housing Council.
