Choon Fah is a ULI Global Governing Trustee, Immediate past Chair of ULI Singapore, member of the ULI Singapore Executive Committee and the ULI Asia-Pacific Learning Sub-group. She is Adjunct Professor and member of the Institute of Real Estate & Urban Studies at the National University of Singapore and member of Council for Real Estate Agencies. Beyond real estate, Choon Fah’s wide-ranging interests include the arts, education and lifelong learning.

Director, Urbis

Peter has had a 35-year career in building and leading professional services companies, providing advisory services related to urban planning and development, urban economics, and real estate strategy, to the public and private sectors. In 2000, Peter was the founding Regional Director of Urbis in Queensland, and in 2016 established Cistri, the international arm of Urbis, based in Singapore. He has now returned to Australia and has taken a position as Director of Planning in the School of Architecture at the University of Queensland and remains a Strategic Advisor Director to Urbis, based in Brisbane. He has undergraduate and post graduate qualifications in urban planning and urban economics and is regarded as one of the Asia-Pacific’s most respected urban land use strategists.

He has led major projects across Australia, the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom. His ability to marry urban planning and economic considerations has made him a trusted advisor internationally to major private and public companies and all levels of government.

Senior Managing Director, Country Head / Tokyo, Japan, Hines

Mr. Tanaka is Senior Managing Director and Country Head overseeing new business initiatives throughout Japan. He brings more than 25 years of Japan real estate development and investment experience to the firm. Before joining Hines, he was Managing Director, Head of Japan Real Estate and member of the investment committee for Angelo Gordon’s pan-Asia real estate investment team. Tanaka is an Executive Committee member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Asia Pacific, and served as a ULI Global Governing Trustee as well as Vice Chairman of ULI Japan.

Tanaka earned a B.A. degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He also attended the Graduate School of Architecture at Kyoto University. He is fluent in Japanese and English.

As the Global Board Director and Regional Managing Principal for Greater China, Xiaomei contributes to both Gensler’s global vision and leads the region’s strategic planning, growth, and development, spearheading research, and design innovation across the firm’s diverse practice areas.

Xiaomei is highly regarded in the industry as an innovative leader in her own right and continues to be a popular keynote speaker and panelist. In 2020 Xiaomei was appointed a Global Governing Trustee for the Urban Land Institute (ULI).  She is a member of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) and was a juror at their CTBUH 2019 Tall + Urban Innovation Global Awards.  Xiaomei is the Vice Chairwoman of the Committee on High-rise Habitat Environment of the Architectural Society of China. In 2021 she was appointed Chair of the Women’s Executive Network in Shanghai for the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) and appeared on the Fortune China’s 2021 and 2022 List of ‘Most Powerful Women (MPW)’.

Vice President, Head of Development and Delivery (Japan), Colt Data Centre Service

Qualified as a 1st Class Licensed Architect in both Japan and Canada, Gordon has over 35 years of experience bridging multiple disciplines of property development and asset management. Before joining Pembroke, he spent 10 years as an Executive Officer with Bovis Lend Lease Japan, responsible for the architectural project management team, and environmental sustainability group.

Dzung Do Nguyen is an expert in city planning and design with 15 years of experience in plan-making and implementation in fast-growing regions and emerging cities in Asia. He has explored new frontiers in urban innovations with the aim of providing market-responsive, context-sensitive and implementation-ready urban solutions. His works focuses on comprehensive city development strategies, economic zone developments, water-sensitive urban designs, transit-oriented developments and new township planning. He has led the master plan for 6 cities and regions in Asia and is currently working on Ho Chi Minh city master plan.

Dzung is the CEO of enCity Urban Solutions, an innovative planning consultant based in Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia. He also teaches a graduate urban planning studio at National University of Singapore.
