Fractional Real Estate: Disruption or the Future of Investment?

Fractional real estate investing is emerging as a new approach to property ownership, offering broader access to real estate markets through digital platforms and shared ownership models. But how transformative is this trend, and where does it fit alongside traditional investment structures?

Initiated by the ULI Singapore NEXT Committee, this event aims to explore the future of real estate investing. The spotlight session on fractionalisation, moderated by Cheryl Seet, Head of Wealth Markets at CapitaLand Investment and the Co-Chair of NEXT committee, as we bring together leading voices at the intersection of established real estate practices and next-generation investment models — from a seasoned REIT specialist, a capital markets and investment expert to an innovator in a blockchain-enabled real estate platform.

Join industry experts Seat Moey (Allen & Gledhill), Samuel Lee (Fraxtor), and Melvin Chay (Knight Frank) as they discuss the practical implications of fractional ownership, compare it with the well-established REIT model, assess the role of technologies like blockchain, and consider the frameworks needed to ensure trust, transparency, and sound governance in this evolving space.

Whether you are an individual investor or institutional participant, this is a timely conversation exploring the potential and practicalities of what's next in property investment.
