How the New Geopolitics is Changing the Economics of Doing Business in Asia Pacific

As the COVID-19 pandemic stretches into its third year, the global economy is in a state of flux with fresh geopolitical tensions a catalyst for even more disruptions.

Deep differences over trade, foreign policy and values have been sharpened US-China tensions amid increasingly hostile rhetoric. As the world reels from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, one must consider if this signals the dawn of a new Cold War. How is China's "zero-Covid" policy and “wolf warrior” diplomacy shaping the geopolitical context and domestic policies in Asia Pacific? And how can companies navigate the complexity of the geopolitical environment as the macroeconomic landscape across the region continues to face inflationary pressures and slow growth?

To discuss these changes, please join us for a special fireside chat with recognised thought leaders, after which watch out for a response panel where we hear viewpoints of investors on the impact of the macroeconomics and geopolitical developments on capital markets. How are they responding to and positioning themselves for this challenge?

The ULI Asia Pacific Leaders Lunch & Dialogue will be an exceptional thought leadership focused networking event to connect with ULI senior members who are industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
