    Jon Tanaka

    Managing Director, Co-Head of Japan Real Estate, Angelo Gordon Asia Limited

    Jon Tanaka joined Angelo, Gordon Japan in 2009 and has completed over $2 billion of property acquisitions for the firm’s Asia opportunity funds. Founded in 1988, Angelo, Gordon manages $35 billion, including over $11 billion of opportunistic and core plus real estate funds investing in major markets globally. Since 2005, the firm's Asia real estate team invests in Greater China, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. Previously, Mr. Tanaka was a Managing Director in the Deutsche Bank Group Japan where he was responsible for property investing and portfolio management. Jon is a graduate of Harvard University and holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. Jon serves as a Global Trustee for ULI Global and Vice Chairman for ULI Japan.
