Urban Solutions: Global Perspectives on Designing for Future Generations
2025 ULI Global Sustainability Outlook on Resilience

How can we design urban environments that remain vibrant and resilient for decades to come-balancing the needs of people, nature, and future generations?

As cities evolve, the demand for energy-efficient infrastructure powered by fossil-free energy continues to grow. Communities now expect greater sustainability and accountability, driving leaders to enhance the measurability of environmental and social impact. In 2025, defining social impact remains an evolving challenge, encompassing diverse metrics such as health, indoor environmental quality, community well-being, and principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This event marks the inaugural session of the 2025 ULI Global Sustainability Outlook on Resilience. The Sydney event will convene global thought leaders in architecture, urban design, and sustainability to share pioneering strategies and insights from transformative projects across Europe and UK.

Through engaging presentations and discussions, our expert panel will explore key principles shaping the future of sustainable urban development, including:

    • Enhancing biodiversity in the built environment
    • Fostering meaningful community engagement
    • Designing adaptable spaces that respond to environmental and societal shifts

Join ULI Sydney as we delve into global best practices and uncover how these insights can help shape the future of Australian cities.
