Ready for art week this March? Kick start it with an exclusive tour of the Sai Kung Hoi Art Festival!

If you missed Hong Kong’s annual island hopping art festival earlier this year, we got you. ULI has arranged a tour with the Curator, Mr. Alan Cheung of One Bite Design Studio. This special route will cover all new artworks across three islands, specially curated for our ULI members and guests.

Hong Kong is a city formed by islands. Keeping a strong synergy with nature, portions of Hong Kong showcase unique culture, religions, geology, and social practices. Sai Kung, affectionately known as ‘Hong Kong’s backyard’, perfectly blends world-class geological vistas and winding natural coastlines. What you might not know is that it is also home to an ever-growing art scene, which is exactly what the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival is all about. During the second year of the Sai Kung Hoi Arts Festival, participants can explore the old and the new of Sai Kung islands at Yim Tin Tsai, Sharp Island, High Island and Kau Sai Chau (not included in this tour) through different art installations and public programmes. Join us in embracing art, culture, nature, and uncovering a different side of Hong Kong by learning about the hidden narratives of the community.

Itinerary:

09:00 - Meet up at the UNESCO Geopark Volcano Discovery Centre to start the tour

09:15 - Speed boat to Sharp Island

11:30 - Speed boat to High Island & lunch

14:30 - Speed boat to Yim Tin Tsai

17:30 - Depart from Sai Kung (End of the tour)

Registration is required. Registration deadline is 20 March 2024 (Wednesday).
