With foreign institutional capital largely absent from China's real estate market, both domestic and foreign investors are increasingly turning to local capital sources for liquidity. Over the medium term, China will need to cultivate a robust domestic capital market if its real estate sector is to recover and grow.

During this session we will explore a number of facets of China’s evolving domestic capital market, including the emerging C-REIT sector, domestic institutional capital, and debt financing.  What are the challenges and opportunities presented by these forms of capital? How will China’s domestic capital markets develop over the medium to long term?
