Exclusive event for ULI members only - join us for an intimate and interactive breakfast meeting with David Gottfried.

David Gottfried is known as a father of the global green building movement, founding the U.S. Green Building Council and World Green Building Councils, now in 80 countries – starting a global sustainable building movement with hundreds of thousands of projects in 181 countries, and hundreds of thousands of accredited professionals. Gottfried’s work focuses on transformation at scale with urgency.

Gottfried serves as Chief Commercialization Officer for Blue Planet Systems. The firm makes Synthetic Limestone [CaCO3] aggregate by a circular process including directly sequestering and then mineralizing CO2 from industrial plants and Direct Air Capture. The potential is for gigatonnes of CO2 permanently stored annually into carbon negative concrete. Gottfried is helping Blue Planet accelerate commercialization of the company’s carbon negative concrete for the built environment and coastal protection around the world.

We have secured a time in his busy schedule to meet our members in Hong Kong, and we will be taking a closer look at green building innovation and what it looks like in Hong Kong.

The event will feature opening remarks from Helen Amos, Sustainability Consulting Lead for Asia Pacific and Head of Sustainability Hong Kong at JLL, and a moderated discussion between David Gottfried and Rumen Yordanov, Director at Asian European Engineering and member of our Decarbonisation and Resilience Committee.

Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn from one of the leading global experts in sustainable building practices. Register now!
