We are looking for a bilingual, experienced trainer/facilitator who has a passion for inspiring participants and delivering focused, engaging, and fun content.
This position works closely with the Head of Program and Lead Instructor to develop and deliver programs. You will be primarily responsible for the delivery of UrbanPlan workshops to students across Hong Kong schools, as well as training to professionals involved in the technical facilitation component of the program.
The role can be Part-time initially for up to 10 hours per week with an aim to be Full-time. Travel to various locations around Hong Kong is required as workshops will be held at the host school or in our member’s offices. Currently live and have a valid work visa to work in Hong Kong.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus 2-3 years trainer / facilitator experience. A background in the built environment is a plus but not essential.
- Experience in coaching or delivering training modules to young adults, sports training background is acceptable
- Excellent communication, facilitation and classroom delivery skills
- Superb verbal and written communication in both Cantonese and English. Proficiency in Putonghua is highly valued
- Excellent analytical, planning, organisation and implementation skills
- Ability to work independently and on a flexible schedule. At limited times work schedule may include evenings or weekends
- High level of ethics, values, integrity, trust and dependability
- Ensure quality improvement by evaluating program achievement against target goals, and stakeholders experience, needs and interests
- Maintain confidentiality in all professional relationships, copyright program materials, tools and techniques
- Ability to utilize or adopt integrated technologies, including, but not limited to Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Canva, Google Docs, PowerPoint, Excel, and any relevant learning applications
