On Wednesday November 11th the Beijing chapter of Young Leaders Group hosted a tour of one of Beijing’s newest iconic landmarks known as Parkview Green. The Parkview Group was established by the Hwang family with its headquarters in Hong Kong. The tour was led by Beijing based Teddy Wong who guided a group of about 23 ULI members through all aspects of the Parkview program. The development consists of a boutique hotel, office space, a large open shopping center, restaurants, cafés and world class artwork displaying the largest private collection of Salvador Dali’s work outside of Barcelona. On this tour Teddy Wong granted ULI special access and described each and every aspect of the buildings sustainable and technological features. The tour included everything from leasing information to how the building’s façade & integrated weather system is able to control temperature, air quality, and energy use. Aside from the Art and unique space, Parkview Green is pre-certified LEED Platinum and stands out through its innovative sustainable design and its attention to detail. Everyone at ULI Beijing would like to extend a special thank you to Teddy Wong and a congratulations on the success of Parkview Green.
