WLI is growing quickly and we are excited about the upcoming opportunities:

WLI Fall Meeting Scholarships Submission deadline is July 15, 2015.

Since 2012, the ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) has awarded scholarships to women members to participate in the Fall Meeting.  These scholarships are awarded in recognition of a member’s contributions to ULI and demonstrated commitment to real estate and land use issues.  Further selection criteria is a member’s ability to articulate the benefits of WLI involvement and Fall Meeting attendance to advance their professional interests and pursuits as well as their future involvement with ULI. Scholarships will be awarded to applicants who have 5+ years in the real estate or land use industry and have shown leadership roles within their District Council or on a national level. WLI Innovation Grant Submission deadline is September 4, 2015.

The WLI Steering Committee is pleased to announce the first annual WLI Innovation Grant for District and National Councils.  The grant program is intended to spur inspiration for WLI programing and initiatives throughout the D/NC network.  Get creative, look for opportunities to impact your community, involve women and increase the footprint of WLI.  Up to $10,000 will be awarded annually at the ULI Fall Meeting.  For grant guidelines, click here.  To apply, use the D/NC Innovation grant application indicating WLI Innovation Grant.  Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the WLI Chair.
