Ashley Hegland

Ashley Hegland is the Founder at StoneWave Group, a global advisory firm specialising in sustainability affairs, ESG risk management, and clean economy investment. With 20 years of experience as an ESG management professional working in the Asia-Pacific region, Ashley has advised blue chip MNC’s, including Swire Pacific, CLP, Shangri-La Hotel Group, Wal-Mart, Akzo Nobel, and HSBC on sustainability strategy and implementation, ESG risk analysis, and stakeholder management. Prior to moving to Asia, Ashley worked as a geologist and geophysicist in the Canadian energy sector.
Ashley holds a MBA degree in Strategy and ESG/Sustainability Management. He is currently based in Hong Kong.
Michael Long

Michael is a passionate and driven thought leader in Sustainability with over 20 years experience in corporate and consulting roles across a broad range of industry sectors in Asia, United Kingdom and Australia including over 7 years in global roles.
In his current role as Head of Sustainability, Michael’s focus is creating value through aligning responsible investment across Lendlease’s Asia portfolio including Development, Construction and Investment Management. He’s currently focused on working with the leadership team and businesses to further integrate climate scenario analysis planning and social impact value creation into all new investments and developments while continuing to strengthen operational resilience through efficiency initiatives in partnership with supply chain.
With Lendlease now committing to be a 1.5 degree aligned company and to create $150M social impact by 2025 the urgency for action to align strategic long term Business objectives with a climate changed economy is critical.
Tony Lam
Associate Director of Sustainability
Arup
Ir Dr Tony Lam is an Associate Director of Sustainability at Arup. As a sustainability specialist, he has extensive experience in tackling environmental impacts on the built environment, particularly in designing low carbon, wellness and healthy building development. He is a green design expert and has completed a number of exemplar sustainable projects in East Asia, including K11 Atelier King’s Road, CIC Zero Carbon Building (ZCB), Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA) Housing Communities, Hualian Residence in Taiwan and South Beach in Singapore.
Tony has been a WELL Faculty member since 2016, and IWBI Asia ESG Task Force Co-Chair since 2020, while he has delivered the first two WELL Platinum-certified buildings in the Hong Kong. Currently, he is leading a specialist team to develop various innovative solutions using IoT and big data to help clients address their wellness and carbon reduction objectives for property portfolios.
Tony was awarded the CIC Young Innovator Award in 2017.
