New Research from ULI and Heitman Finds Need for Deeper Understanding of the Risks Posed by Climate Migration
POSITION SUMMARY:
The ULI Center for Sustainability and Economic Performance (CSEP) and ULI Asia Pacific are seeking a Senior Manager to lead environment, social, and governance (ESG) and decarbonization thought leadership work for the Asia Pacific region, develop and grow the ULI Greenprint real estate membership, and support regional ULI Net Zero Imperative technical assistance panels (TAPs).
Reducing carbon emissions and increasing building value across the built environment is a ULI Global Mission Priority, and a core focus of CSEP. This includes development of research reports and resources on the business case for high-performance green buildings, convening of market leaders to advance sustainability in real estate, and the promotion of Greenprint member progress to the broader ULI membership and real estate market at large. Long-term focus areas include city climate goals and policies as well as landlord and tenant sustainability opportunities.
The ULI Net Zero Imperative (NZI) is a multiyear program providing research and technical assistance to public- and private-sector leaders to accelerate decarbonization in the built environment. The goal of the NZI effort is to provide concrete ideas and strategies to the beneficiaries of the TAPs and the general public to eliminate carbon emissions from the built environment. The Net Zero advisory initiative will also foster a long-term cohort of participants to collaborate over time and learn from each other as they work to implement the recommendations from the panels.
