Join the ULI NSW Young Leaders Group for our next Learning Series event providing insights into the ever-expanding world of eCommerce and its impacts for industrial assets. We are joined by two key speakers who will share their perspectives on the disruptive impact of e-commerce on traditional spatial and logistics requirement of industrial assets. How do they see this market evolving into the future, and what is the impact on traditional owners of this asset class?

Ben Franzi, General Manager of eCommerce and International at Australia Post and Star Track will provide insight into how the Australia Post business and infrastructure is responding to these changes. Tim Cassidy, NSW Head of Industrial, Cushman & Wakefield will provide a wider assessment of the existing industrial market and how industrial spaces and logistics are changing to support the growing eCommerce market in NSW and more broadly.

Ben Franzi
General Manager – eCommerce and International – Australia Post & Star Track

ben_franziBen Franzi is responsible for providing world class service to local and international customers through our eCommerce solutions and marketplaces. Ben leads a team which strengthens Australia Post’s global networks and partnerships, drives an international portfolio by providing a market leading delivery network, and creates data and insights to help businesses maintain a competitive advantage. Ben has a combination of executive finance, operational and strategy roles; he successfully guided the strategy direction for parcels and freight services of Australia Post as it shifted from a mail service to an eCommerce service provider.

Tim Cassidy
Director – NSW Head of Industrial – Cushman & Wakefield of Australia

Tim tim_cassidyjoined the Industrial Division of Cushman & Wakefield as a Director in August 2015 and specializes in the sales and leasing of industrial and commercial premises as well as mixed-use sites in the South Sydney and Inner West Regions. Tim has worked extensively with large institutional investors as well as private investors and major corporates in the region. Tim is a licensed real estate agent has over twenty five years experience in sales and leasing with over twenty years in the South Sydney market. Tim previously worked at JLL as a Director for eight years in their Mascot office, Knight Frank as an Industrial Director and CBRE as the NSW Industrial Director.
