Join Myron Poobalasingam (Lendlease Urban Regeneration) for an in-depth view into the key learnings from one of Melbourne’s largest urban regeneration projects, Melbourne Quarter. This session will provide you first hand insights into the challenges faced in delivering large urban generation projects, namely through the case study of Melbourne Quarter, with a focus on its first commercial tower: One Melbourne Quarter. Overseeing the project through design, leasing and delivery Myron is well placed to provide strategic advice & perspective on key opportunities, risk mitigation and delivery in large-scale urban regeneration projects.
Myron Poobalasingam, Development Manager (Commercial – Urban Regeneration), Lendlease
Myron Poobalasingam is one of the key members in the Melbourne Quarter Commercial Development team. Myron has been in the development industry for 7 years and Lendlease for almost 3 years. Myron commenced his development career at Goodman Group developing industrial assets in Victoria and Western Australia. Myron joined Lendlease in 2016 on the Melbourne Quarter project and upon completion of One Melbourne Quarter, will lead the third stage of Melbourne Quarter, Melbourne Quarter Tower. Myron completed a degree in Property at Melbourne University, and has commenced his Masters of Property also at the University of Melbourne. Outside of work, Myron has his own charity focusing on raising patient capital for investment in projects and programs in low socio economic and developing regions in Australia and Asia Pacific.
