Join an event on the “Use of New Technologies in Shopping Centers” at Powerlong’s Idea Lab in Qibao, Shanghai. We will visit Powerlong’s Idea Lab and Museum. The Head of Idea Lab, Mr. Shao Zijian of Powerlong, will give a presentation titled, “The Future Investment Opportunities in Smart Business and New Retail”. After that, we will include interactive discussions with Draco Wu, Founder&
CEO from Yueshang I.T. Co., Ltd. Kelvin Yip, a Senior Partner at Hypers and Sonia Tan, General Manager in charge of project management at CapitaLand East China.
The Idea Lab, developed by mixed-use developer Powerlong Real Estate, focuses on new retail research, new business incubation and ecosphere operation. As a leading commercial real estate developer, Powerlong is dedicated to innovations within the Group and study of new retail. The Idea Lab is the test ground of innovations for Powerlong.

Kelvin, is an experienced executive that has been in operating in China’s market for over 12 years. He currently is a Senior Partner at Hypers, a leading Chinese Data Marketing Technology company, where he is heading up a new collaborative venture with RTG Consulting Group to develop business driven solutions based on cutting edge data technology…[more]
Sonia Tan is General Manager in charge of project management at CapitaLand East China. Currently, she is responsible for Shanghai Hongqiao Ali Center. She has over 20 years of experience in mall management and operation. Sonia moved from Singapore to Shanghai in 2007 and has managed a few of large-scale mixed-use and retail projects. Some representative projects include East China Raffles owned by CapitaLand, CapitaLand Bejing Xizhimen, CapitaLand Hongkou Plaza, and Foshan VivoCity. From 2014 to 2016, she was responsible for asset management of commercial projects owned by China Orient Summit Capital in Suzhou, Dongguan, Shenyang, Beijing and other cities.
