Join a property tour of Dongjiadu Financial City and Harbourcity on 20 September. HU Qi, Deputy General Manager of CMIG Bund Real Estate Development Co. Ltd. & Chief Architect of CMIG Jiaye Investment Co. Ltd. and LIU He, Deputy Director of Product Research & Development Dept. and Engineering Management Center of Shanghai Chime Shipping Property Ltd will introduce their projects to us.
We will get together and start our tour at Lobby, 1F, The Bund International Plaza, 100 South Zhongshan Rd, Huangpu District. After visiting Dongjiadu, we will travel to Harbourcity by bus. Following by the tour, we will have a networking event at the bar of Mandarin Oriental Hotel – Pudong Shanghai.
Dongjiadu Financial City: As a national strategy, Shanghai will be constructed as the third largest international financial center in the world, abreast of London and New York. Therefore, Huangpu District of Shanghai strives to develop the Bund Financial Agglomeration Belt along the Huangpu River which focuses on innovative financial business during the 13th Five Year Plan. The Bund Financial Agglomeration Belt, together with Lujiazui Financial City, will form the financial pattern of “one city and one belt” in Shanghai.
Dong Financial City is located at the core position in the Bund Financial Agglomeration Belt, which will promote the upgrading of Shanghai as an international financial center. The project blends with both landmark building clusters and world class ambience of working and living. The gross floor area is approximately 1,200,000 m², which comprises office area of 457,000 m², including Grade-A office high-rise and headquarter office towers; commercial area of approximately 187,000 m², including high-end shopping mall and open entertaining commercial street; the residence and hotel of approximately 126,000 m² and 40,000 m² respectively.
Besides, the project embraces a central green open space, historical preservation architectures (Dongjiadu Catholic Church and Merchant Shipping Hall) and riverside culture and leisure zone. A sleepless financial city attracting capital from all over the world will be rising up here.
Harbourcity: Since 2002, Shanghai started the comprehensive development of both sides of Huangpu River, this area is gradually becoming a central CBD integrating office, commerce, culture, art and living from the industrial factory. In the future, the new identity of Lujiazui Riverside City will be taken as Lujiazui Center District (Phase II) project to undertake its financial function extension. With 11,340 sqm site area and 31,626 sqm GFA, HARBOURCITY planning 1.5km open riverside, the region to retain the machine shop and historical slipway, distributed in 250,000 square meters of more than 40 pieces of public art … all to tell more people that this is a A half century memory of the venue, but also a full preview and show the city’s future vitality field.
