    ULI Japan YLG has invited two leading CEOs who are active in the front lines of new business and DX in the real estate industry. Mr. Hirai (Founder and CEO, estie, Inc.) and Mr. Ishii (CEO, spacemotion, Inc.) are invited as panelists, and Mr. Shimoda of Mitsubishi Estate will moderate a panel discussion based on the business of each company and the experiences of the two panelists.

    Speakers

    Ei Hirai

    Founder and CEO, estie, inc.

    Ei Hirai is Founder and CEO of “estie, inc.“, a proptech startup founded in December 2018. His team is devoted to building Japanese commercial real estate data platform, which has comprehensive market information and analytics solutions. His venture is based on his experience in Mitsubishi Estate, one of the largest real estate developers in Japan, where he worked on asset management in foreign markets and office leasing in Tokyo. He graduated from the University of Tokyo (Economics) in 2014.

    Kenichiro Ishii

    Manager, Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.

    Kenichiro is CEO of "spacemotion, inc.", a joint venture with Tokyo, Inc. and Mitsubishi Estate. He started his career in 2008 at Mitsubishi Estate, starting in the building operation and management department. From there he was involved in launching a division to develop logistics real estate in 2012 , where he worked for a wide range of business phases, including site acquisition, tenant leasing, project management, property sales, and was also involved in a number of large-scale deals. In 2013, he was dispatched as the first Chinese language trainee to work at CBRE China, where he dealt with all aspects of the industrial sector. In 2017, he moved to Corporate Planning Department, where he developed company-wide strategies for digital transformation and in 2019 launched the DX Promotion Department. He graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Engineering.

    Takumi Shimoda

    Associate, Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.

    Takumi has been working as an associate at Mitsubishi Estate since 2018. After working in the Investment Management Business Department for two years, he applied for the in-house new business proposal contest and his business plan passed the final screening. In 2020, he moved to New Business Creation Department, where he is in charge of the new business he proposed and is promoting its commercialization. He graduated from Hitotsubashi University, Faculty of Economics.
