An often-misunderstood asset class, build to rent (BTR) is being tipped to be one of the biggest commercial asset hits of 2021, as declining housing affordability continues to put pressure on low and middle income earners and first-time buyers. In Australia, there are now over 15,000 institutional BTR units in the pipeline for delivery by 2024.

To help make sense of the growing BTR industry, the ULI NSW Young Leaders Group is excited to welcome members and guests to an intimate in-person conversation with Angela Buckley, the General Manager of Mirvac’s Built to Rent portfolio. Angela leads the strategic direction for Mirvac’s business activities and also oversees the Australian Build to Rent Club and development pipeline.

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear from an established and successful contributor to the real estate industry, as she shares her key insights into the future of BTR in Australia and outlines Mirvac’s continued growth.
Angela will also discuss her career path and reflect on lessons learnt on her journey, which includes the transacting and development of billions of dollars-worth of real estate.
