    In the View From The Top series ULI welcomes Leonie Wilkinson in a candid sharing of her wonderful career. Today Leonie sits as the Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management at Brookfield’s Real Estate Group overseeing Brookfield’s Australian core and core-plus real estate investment strategies including fund and asset performance, return profile, and pursuit of acquisition and disposition opportunities

    Ms. Wilkinson has over 20 years of experience in real estate funds management, and prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, was a member of the Queensland Investment Corporation (“QIC”) Executive Committee. Before joining QIC, Ms. Wilkinson held senior roles at LaSalle and Macquarie Capital, focused on real estate private equity advisory, capital raising and investment management.

    ULI Australia has also recently welcomed Leonie as our new Chair of Australia on the ULI Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

    Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management (Real Estate), Brookfield Asia Pacific

    Leonie Wilkinson is a Senior Vice President in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, Ms. Wilkinson is responsible for working with Brookfield’s local and global teams in overseeing portfolio management for Brookfield’s Australian core and core-plus real estate investment strategies, including fund and asset performance, return profile, and pursuit of acquisition and disposition opportunities. Ms. Wilkinson has over 20 years of experience in real estate funds management, and prior to joining Brookfield in 2020, was a member of the Queensland Investment Corporation (“QIC”) Executive Committee. Before joining QIC, Ms. Wilkinson held senior roles at LaSalle and Macquarie Capital, focused on real estate private equity advisory, capital raising and investment management. Ms. Wilkinson holds a first-class honours degree in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Wollongong, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. She also serves as Chair of Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) Australia on the ULI Asia Pacific Executive Committee.
