Taking place on 23rd October 2024, this year’s conference will focus on Hong Kong as a global city.

Hong Kong has long been a hub for businesses, companies, and tourists from around the world. Its unique East-meets-West culture, natural surroundings, and modern infrastructure have made it one of the most charismatic and well-loved cities globally.

As a design architect delivering ambitious green buildings and masterplans across geographies, Antonio was convinced that he was part of the solution to Climate Change. When he realised that his efforts had failed to move the needle in reducing the sector’s 40% global carbon emissions, he decided to chart a different course. This led Antonio to found Formwork IO with the goal to drastically reduce upfront carbon and Scope 3 emissions in the buildings and construction industry. Formwork IO applies Whole Life Carbon Thinking to design innovative products that help developers and asset managers win the Net Zero Embodied Carbon race, boosting their contribution in reducing the world’s embodied carbon by 50% in the next 350 weeks.
