    We will be asking our panelists about their experiences working as a young professional during the last global market disruption - the Great Financial Crisis in 2007 - and what lessons they learned under a difficult and unstable environment. We hope that the event will provide insight into how young professionals can better navigate the current market disruption caused by the pandemic.     Prince Phillips

    WeWork Nogizaka

    Prince is part of the original Enterprise leadership team responsible for growing WeWork’s market share of Fortune 500 and multinational membership throughout a portfolio of 32 locations in Japan. On the new Global Accounts team, Prince now carries on his role further from business development to transaction management, project management and after sales client success. Prior to WeWork, Prince spent 10+ years in commercial real estate working for two of the industry’s top firms, Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE as a broker and consultant for occupiers and investors. Prince grew up on the east coast of the United States, was born in Greenwich, CT and earned a BS from University of Central Florida prior to coming to Japan.

    Sonia Mayer

    Head of Talent Acquisition, CBRE, Inc.

    Sonia is the Head of Talent Acquisition at CBRE Japan, where she oversees the organization’s full spectrum of hiring needs from mid-career recruitment to new graduate and disability hiring. Sonia began her career at a management consulting firm in Japan but relocated to Hawaii with her partner to work in Executive Search. She later moved to Shanghai as a co-founder of Quadrant Ltd., a boutique, retained executive search firm, and, over the next 8 years, worked to grow the business to 18 people with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore. Sonia has a BA from Colby College in the US, as well as a MA in International Relations from Hitotsubashi University.

    Yoshinori Tajima

    Director, Head of Investment, Amp Co., Ltd. Japan

    Yoshi is the Head of Investment at Amp Co., Ltd., where he oversees all investments made in Japan, and has over 15 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining Amp, Yoshi was the Head of Acquisition Department at First Brothers Capital Co., Ltd. managing the department for principal investment and asset management for all real estate related deals. Yoshi has also held positions at Pacific Star Japan Co., Ltd., Merrill Lynch Japan Securities, Ltd., and other varieties of investment and operation firms. Yoshi has a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University in the US.
