    Greg Clark, CBE

    Global Urbanist, Innovator and Author

    Greg Clark is a writer, Board Chair, and corporate advisor on transport, cities, real estate, sustainability, investment and innovation with a portfolio of roles in the UK, and globally. He is author of 10 books and 100 reports on cities, mobility, urban economies, investment, and place-leadership. Greg is Hon Global Fellow at the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is former chair of the OECD Forum of Cities and Regions (1996-2016) and former Global Fellow on cities at the Brookings Institution. He has advised the World Bank, European Investment Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, and HSBC Group on transport, cities, sustainability, and innovation. He is expert advisor on the BBC World Service Series, My Perfect City, and co-host of The DNA of Cities podcast. In the UK, he is Chair of the Connected Places Catapult (CPC), the UK’s national innovation accelerator for transport, cities, and place-leadership, and Chair of the Cities Commission for Climate Investment(3Ci) which convenes local leaders and investors to find innovative means to capitalise a just urban transition. He is a Board Member of Transport for London (TfL). He chairs TfL’s Land and Property Committee which oversees TfL property and housing ventures (TTLP). He is member of TfL’s Finance Committee formerly chaired its Investment & Programmes Committee and was a member of the Elizabeth Line Committee. He is Hon Prof of cities and innovation at Strathclyde University.


    Dylan Gray

    Associate Director, Urbis

    Dylan specialises in Melbourne’s residential property sector. Clients seek his experience in property research and analysis for projects throughout Melbourne’s various residential micro-markets. Dylan’s attention to detail, ability to manage projects on time, his personable nature and honest work ethic are valued by his team and clients alike. He has assisted clients with apartment projects in Melbourne’s inner-city area to land subdivisions in greenfield estates around the Urban Growth Zone, and everything in-between. This includes medium density infill sites and retirement living in Melbourne’s middle-ring. Melbourne’s evolving residential market sees Dylan work with national developers on understanding new models such as the Multi-Family, or Build to Rent asset class in Australia. He regularly also advises clients on project due diligence, site identification, market insights, off-the-plan apartment research, demand assessments and highest and best use analysis.


    Quaiser Parvez

    Chief Executive Officer, Nucleus Office Parks

    Quaiser Parvez is the CEO of Nucleus Office Parks, a Blackstone company in India. Nucleus Office Parks currently manages 21 Mn sq. ft. of Grade A assets across Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad and NCR. Prior to Nucleus Office Parks, Quaiser held key positions managing business operations, development, and service & support. He has worked with CBRE & JLL in their Capital Markets group and was involved in multiple assignments of asset dispositions, project feasibility, and investor services. Before being in Real Estate, Quaiser spent a few years with GE Capital & Gallagher India in operations and overseeing offshore delivery centres. He graduated from Delhi University and has done his management program at IIM-Ahmedabad.


    Cindy Xu

    Investment Professional, Partners Group

    Cindy has been with Partners Group for 3 years and is a core member of the firm's Private Real Estate Investment Team in Singapore, covering real estate investments across the Asia Pacific region. Cindy has led underwriting and execution efforts on both direct and indirect investment opportunities across the region and across sub-segments, with extensive experience in China, Australia and Japan in logistics, office and residential sectors. Prior to Partners Group, Cindy worked at Bank of American Merrill Lynch and Huron Consulting Group. Cindy received her MBA from the London Business School, and Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.


    Eng Seng Ang

    Chief Investment Officer, Infrastructure, GIC

    Mr Ang Eng Seng is GIC’s Chief Investment Officer for Infrastructure. Before this, he was President of Europe and Head of Integrated Strategies Group. Prior to joining GIC in 1994, Mr Ang was a Director of the Auditor-General's Office in Singapore. From 1996 to 1998, he was seconded from GIC to China International Capital Corporation in Beijing, first as the Deputy General Manager and subsequently as the General Manager of its Direct Investment Department. He was Head of the Greater China Team for GIC Special Investments from 1999 to mid 2003, before becoming the Head of Europe Private Equity Group till 2009. He was concurrently Global Head of GIC’s Direct Investment Group and Head of the Infrastructure Group from 2009 to 2012. Mr Ang holds an MA from Cambridge University. He is a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a charter holder of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).


    Etienne Cadestin

    Founder and Global CEO, Longevity Partners Ltd

    Etienne Cadestin is the founder and global CEO of Longevity Partners. He has more than ten years of expertise in sustainable property investment and strategy. With a team of nearly 200 experts, Etienne provides responsible business and climate advisory services to some of the world’s largest property investment firms. Prior to founding Longevity Partners in 2015, Etienne worked at Knight Frank, JLL and the United Nations Environment Programme. Since 2020, Etienne sits on the board of Orée, the leading French think tank on Biodiversity, circular economy and ESG reporting. In 2019, Etienne won the EG Awards in the category ‘Future of Real Estate’. Before that, Etienne was picked to be a ‘Property Rising Star’ and nominated for numerous awards as one of the most active young leaders in the sector. With a mission to advance and future-proof the real estate industry, Etienne frequently speaks at leading events, sharing insights on topics such as smart cities, carbon neutral buildings, workplace well-being, and the future of the industry. Etienne graduated from the London School of Economics. A keen sportsman, Etienne has run nine marathons and enjoys playing tennis, sailing, skiing, cycling and golf. He is married with a daughter and a son.


    Richard Eu

    Chairman, Eu Yan Sang International

    Richard Eu is the man credited with diversifying and modernising Eu Yan Sang, a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) business founded by his great-grandfather Eu Kwong Pai in Perak, Malaysia in 1879. The younger Eu, who currently serves as non-executive chairman of the board, helmed the business for 28 years, taking it from a traditional Chinese medicine store to a multi-outlet giant offering integrated TCM healthcare products and services on a global level. Eu, who is also the grandson of prominent tycoon and philanthropist Eu Tong Sen, joined the family business in 1989 as general manager after stints as a banker and stockbroker. The University of London law graduate sought to broaden TCM’s appeal by launching a number of easy-to-use products, including herbal soup mixes, ginseng teabags and Chinese medicine in capsules, to save customers’ time on the lengthy traditional preparation processes. He also widened its distribution channels to include pharmacies, supermarkets and health-food stores, and employed English-speaking staff to promote TCM to younger people. Eu Yan Sang also embarked on an online pivot in 2017. Since then, the firm has linked up with digital health firm MyDoc to offer teleconsultation services to patients. Customers can also now purchase its products via an online store, social media channels or WhatsApp. Eu actively participates in community projects and non-profit organisations, and currently serves as chairman of the Board of Singapore University of Social Sciences. He also sits on the board of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities Limited and Thye Hua Kwan Ang Mo Kio Hospital. In 2020, he was conferred the Public Service Medal at the Singapore National Day Awards.


    Sangwook Kang

    Director, Real Estate Group, Korea Investment Corporation Singapore Office

    Sangwook Kang is a director of real estate investment and portfolio management for the Asia-Pacific region at the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), based in Singapore. He previously covered the U.S. market. Mr. Kang brings 14 years of real estate and infrastructure experience. Prior to joining KIC in 2015, he was a senior portfolio manager at Korea Investment Management Co. (KIMC), focusing on infrastructure investments. Previously, he was an analyst at Korea Ratings (KR), specializing in financial advisory services for real estate and corporate investment projects. Mr. Kang has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Seoul National University in Korea and an MSc in real estate from the National University of Singapore.


    Simon Treacy

    Chief Executive Officer, Private Equity Real Estate, CapitaLand Investment

    Simon is CEO of Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), responsible for driving the growth of real estate assets under management and funds under management (FUM) for CLI’s PERE business. Prior to joining CLI in 2021, Simon was the Managing Director, Global Chief Investment Officer and Head of U.S. Equity for BlackRock Real Estate, where he was responsible for the overall investment strategy and performance of global real estate portfolios, including real estate funds, investment vehicles and research worldwide. Before joining BlackRock, Simon was co-founder, director, and global CEO of MGPA, which held real estate FUM of over US$14 billion across Europe and Asia. He was previously President for Hawaii at The Howard Hughes Corporation based in the USA where he directed the master planning, development, construction, sales, operations, and marketing activities of the 60-acre Ward Village. Simon has extensive global experience, and was based in Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, New York City and Honolulu over the course of his career. He has over 30 years of experience in infrastructure and real estate across North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe. Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing and Human Resources at Griffith University, Australia. He is a Global Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and past Chairman of ULI South Asia.


    Stuart Crow

    CEO Capital Markets APAC, JLL

    Stuart leads JLL’s Asia Pacific Capital Markets business, overseeing more than 450 Commercial Investment Sales and Corporate Finance professionals. Stuart is responsible for providing investment and financial structuring advice for major real estate transactions across the region. He will be responsible for ensuring the offshore capital team is fully committed to identifying the most aggressive capital and leveraging key investor relationships where required. With over 20 years of experience in property finance and investment, Stuart has worked across all the major real estate markets in the Asia Pacific and concentrates on identifying debt and equity investment opportunities for cross-border investors. He specialises in assisting clients with their market entry and investment strategies. On behalf of owners, investors and developers, Stuart has assisted in raising more than $10 billion in foreign capital for direct real estate and joint venture transactions over the past three years.


    Sophie van Oosterom

    Global Head of Real Estate, Schroders

    Sophie van Oosterom joined Schroders in January 2021 as the Global Head of Schroders Real Estate. She is responsible for leading the growth strategy of the business and ultimately delivering investment performance to clients. She chairs the real estate management committee and investment committee. Sophie was most recently CEO and CIO of EMEA for CBRE Global Investors, where she successfully led change management and growth of the platform to EUR 40bn AuM. She also served as a member of the global executive committee and global investment committee. Before that Sophie was a managing director at Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners (now Silverpeak) and head of asset/portfolio management for Europe and Asia. She started her career in investment banking with JP Morgan and Barings. Sophie holds a MSc in Economics cum laude from the University of Amsterdam. She is a Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute since January 2020 and an honorary citizen of Marseille, France.


    Brian Chinappi

    Partner, Head of Real Estate, Actis

    With over two decades of experience working in the Asian Real Estate market, Brian joined Actis in 2018 through the sale of Standard Chartered Bank’s Principal Finance Real Estate group, a business he founded in 2010. Based in Hong Kong, Brian heads up Actis’ Real Estate business, leading a team of investment professionals focused on delivering returns through understanding micro market dynamics and emphasising strategic, hands-on operations and management. Under his leadership, the business has invested across both the traditional and alternative property sectors and has demonstrated an ability to identify secular trends, to position itself for first or early mover advantage. Through its hands-on operating ethos, the business has established relationships with market leading operating partners and management teams across its footprint. Before joining Standard Chartered Bank, Brian spent sixteen years at RREEF, the real estate investment management arm of Deutsche Bank, primarily based in Asia. Brian started his career with Bankers Trust’s real estate banking group based in New York. He holds a degree in economics from Georgetown University.


    David Buffonge

    Co Founder & Executive Director, Lead8

    David is a Co Founder and Executive Director of Lead8. He is an award-winning architect and urban designer, and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA). David’s extensive experience spans across multiple sectors in architecture and urban design, retail planning, integrated mixed-use design, transit-oriented development and airport terminals. His portfolio notably includes ION Orchard & The Orchard Residences and Changi Airport Terminal 4 in Singapore, and Elements in Hong Kong. David currently heads up Lead8’s architecture team, focusing on the design for large mixed-use and transit-oriented developments. Within the industry, he is an active speaker, previously delivering keynote presentations at MIPIM and Urban Land Institute (ULI) conferences.


    Joyce Lo

    Director, Private Capital Advisory Group, and Asia Pacific Real Estate Specialist, Lazard Asia Limited

    Joyce Lo is a Director in the Private Capital Advisory Group at Lazard Asia and their Real Estate Specialist in the region. Her experience in Real Estate Private Equity spans across various roles including capital raising, investor relations, product development in addition to direct real estate investments and asset management. Prior to joining Lazard, Joyce worked at LimeTree Capital, a Hong Kong based RE investment manager targeting under-researched asset classes where she was their Head of Business Development covering global clients. She also worked at other investment managers such as PGIM Real Estate and Palmer Capital, developing and maintaining relationships with investors across Asia Pacific. Joyce began her career at Lehman Brothers in Equity Capital Markets based in Hong Kong and progressed to be a VP and an investment professional of Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners (LBREP) in Asia. Joyce is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


    Ray Lawler

    Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific, Hines

    Mr. Lawler is CEO of Hines' Asia Pacific Region and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In his role, he oversees all development, acquisitions and operations activities across the region. Prior to joining Hines in 2007, he was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and a Naval Aviator, receiving multiple commendations throughout his career. Lawler graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Marine Biology from Boston University and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a member of YPO Hong Kong and is a ULI Global Governing Trustee.


    Jon Tanaka

    Senior Managing Director and Country Head, Japan, Hines

    Mr. Tanaka is Senior Managing Director and Country Head overseeing new business initiatives throughout Japan. He brings more than 25 years of Japan real estate development and investment experience to the firm. Before joining Hines, he was Managing Director, Head of Japan Real Estate and member of the investment committee for Angelo Gordon’s pan-Asia real estate investment team. Previously, he was Managing Director at RREEF Japan. Tanaka is a Global Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) and served as Vice Chairman of ULI Japan. Tanaka earned a B.A. degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He also attended the Graduate School of Architecture at Kyoto University. He is fluent in Japanese and English.


    Eli Konvitz

    Expert in sustainable urban development, University of Hong Kong

    Eli is an expert in sustainable urban development. His experience around the globe includes plans and initiatives for new and revitalised places, large-scale urbanisation and regional strategies, climate change strategy and policy, masterplanning for transit oriented development, reclamation and waterfront development, industry, tourism and leisure projects, and pioneering creation of a mechanism in the UK for low-carbon retrofit of existing buildings. He is currently an independent consultant on urban innovation and development, an adjunct associate professor at the University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Advisory Board of AMRACE (Advanced Manufacturing Robotics Accelerator Centre of Excellence) in Malaysia. Between 2013 and 2022 Eli was Director of Atkins' Planning and Urban Design practice in Hong Kong and South East Asia and Net Zero leader for Asia; Regional Practice Lead for Consulting, Strategy and Advisory; and chair of Atkins' Urban Planning Global Network. Prior to joining Atkins, Eli was at Arup in London and co-founder of startup localCarbon. Eli is chair of the programming and events committee and a member of the executive committee at ULI Hong Kong, sits on the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design’s public affairs and international and mainland affairs committees, and was previously chair of the International Infrastructure Forum's net zero working group at the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Eli is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.


    Helen Leung

    Regional Business Line Leader, Transportation, Asia, AECOM

    Helen Leung co-leads AECOM’s Transportation practice in Asia and is a senior member of AECOM’s Transportation Global Business Line. A chartered civil engineer, Helen has 30 years of experience in civil infrastructure across a broad spectrum of transportation including rail, highways, tunnels and bridges, as well as airports. Based in Hong Kong, she leads multi-disciplinary teams of planners, architects, engineers in delivering transportation megaprojects that have played a pivotal role in the city’s development. These include planning and design for MTR’s transit system expansion as an integral part of Hong Kong’s urban development strategy. Helen was the Design Team Leader for two Shatin Central Link detailed design consultancies, and is currently contributing in a leadership role on AECOM’s project team for the Preliminary Design of Northern Link 2 south of Northern Metropolis. Other examples of Helen’s diverse projects portfolio are Tsing Ma Bridge Lantau Link, Cross Bay Link, North Lantau Expressway, Route 10, Hong Kong International Airport’s Three Runway System expansion, and the Master Redevelopment Project for Ocean Park. Under Helen’s leadership, the Transportation practice in Asia has also provided relevant technical experience and resources to AECOM project in other regions. As a reflection of her passionate championing of greater diversity in the engineering profession as well as women in leadership, Helen has served as the Asia Representative on AECOM’s global Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council.


    Jun Ando

    Managing Director, Investments, Cadillac Fairview Asia Pte Limited

    Mr. Jun Ando brings more than 15 years of real estate investment experience to Cadillac Fairview (real estate arm of the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan), where he joined the company as Managing Director in January 2022. Based out of their Singapore office, he is responsible for the APAC real estate investment portfolio. Prior to joining Cadillac Fairview, Jun worked at Goldman Sachs where he was a member of their real estate team in Asia since 2006, most recently as a Managing Director in their Sydney office. Jun holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia in the United States, and is fluent in Japanese.


    Esther An

    Chief Sustainability Officer, City Developments Limited

    A pioneering green building and sustainability advocate for over two decades, Esther has been instrumental in establishing CDL’s leadership in sustainability. It is ranked top real estate company on the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World since 2020. It became the first real estate conglomerate in Southeast Asia to sign the World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings in February 2021. Named by Reuters as one of 25 trailblazing women leaders in climate 2023, Esther’s pioneering ESG initiatives include publishing the first sustainability report in Singapore in 2008 and issuing the first green bond by a Singaporean company in 2017. The chairperson of the Sustainability Report Advisory Committee in Singapore, she also sits on board the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Supervisory Board, GRESB Foundation Board, and UN PRI Real Estate Advisory Committee. She chairs the World Green Building Council Corporate Advisory Board; the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association’s ESG Committee; and co-chairs the Urban Land Institute Singapore’s Sustainability Product Council. A forerunner in embracing the UN SDGs, Esther was conferred 2018 SDG Pioneer for Green Infrastructure and A Low Carbon Economy by the UN Global Compact.     Khoo Teng Chye

    Mr Khoo Teng Chye is Practice Professor jointly with the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Design and Environment. He was the Executive Director for the Centre for Liveable Cities, Ministry of National Development (MND), Singapore, since 2010 till December this year, and continues to be a Fellow at CLC. He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Planner at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA)(1992 to 1996), Chief Executive Officer/Group President of PSA Corporation(1996 to 2002), President and Chief Executive Officer of Mapletree Investments and Managing Director (Special Projects) of Temasek Holdings(2002 to 2003) and Chief Executive of PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency(2003 to 2011). He sits on the Boards of the Tropical Marine Science Institute of National University of Singapore (NUS), Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (NUS), the National University Health System Pte Ltd (NUHS), and is Chairman of the NUSDeltares Governing Board. He is a member of the NTU Graduate Advisory Committee and of the Monash University Commission on Intermediate Cities. He serves as a member of the Development Projects Advisory Panel (DPAP) set up by Ministry of Finance (MOF). He is an advisor to the Land Transport Authority and the East Coast Town Council. He is an advisor to the Pictet Bank (Switzerland) Smart City Advisory Fund, and Chairman, Urban Land Institute Asia Pacific Executive Committee (wef 1July 21). He ia a Senior Fellow of the URA Academy, a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineers, and the Institution of Engineers, Singapore. Mr Khoo graduated with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from Monash University, Australia. A President-cum-Colombo Plan Scholar, he also holds a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in 2018, the Public Administration (Gold) in 1996 and the Public Administration (Silver) in 1987 by the Singapore government. He was also conferred the Meritorious Service Award by the National Trade Union Congress in 2008.


    David Warneford

    Ron Pressman joined the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) executive team as Global Chief Executive Officer in October 2022. With 35 years of wide-ranging global leadership experience in the financial services, real estate, and energy industries, Pressman is deeply committed to ULI’s mission and three mission priorities – decarbonisation, housing, and educating the next generation of diverse leaders. As Global CEO, Pressman will work with the global board of directors and ULI’s regional leadership to strengthen member engagement and expand member impact in each of the three regions in which ULI has a presence – Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Pressman most recently served as CEO of TIAA Institutional Financial Services where he led the company’s long-term vision for delivering financial security for institutional clients. Earlier in his career, he worked at General Electric Corporation (GE) for over 30 years. As President and CEO of GE Capital Real Estate, he led one of the world’s largest and most diversified commercial real estate finance and investment firms, with a presence in 35 countries and a portfolio of more than $85 billion in assets. During his time at GE, Pressman also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Asset Management and Chairman, CEO, and President of Employers Reinsurance. Earlier in his career, Pressman led GE Energy businesses in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Southwest Asia, and the Americas. Pressman has a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and serves the College as a Charter Trustee. He also served as Chairman of the national board of A Better Chance, a non-profit organization that opens doors to leadership development for children of color in the United States, and as a director of Pathways to College, a non-profit that delivers college preparatory skill building to underserved populations in some of the toughest urban and rural public school districts in the US.


    Patricia Goh

Prior to this role, she was the Head, Group Investment at Frasers Property Limited, where she helped formulate corporate and investment strategies including for e.g., the formation and scaling up of the Group’s industrial & logistics multinational platform to S$7.5b, propelling Frasers Singapore to top 2 largest suburban retail player in Singapore with the acquisition of S$3.2b suburban retail portfolio, led merger of Frasers Logistics Trust and Frasers Commercial Trust to form Frasers Logistics & Commercial Trust which became top 10 largest S-REIT by market cap and completed Singapore office S$450m recap deal with a pension fund. Prior to Frasers Property, Patricia was with Ascendas Fund Management Ltd (manager of A-REIT) holding a dual role as BD & Investment Head and Revenue Management Head where she led the teams in delivery of investment, AEIs & revenue targets for portfolio of >100 business space properties. Patricia brings along with her over 17 years of direct investment, M&A, asset management and leasing experience across multiple asset classes and geographies and has executed more than S$16b worth of transactions over the years. Patricia holds a Master of Science (Real Estate) and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and Sociology) from the National University of Singapore.


    Eng Hwee Lim

    Mr Lim Eng Hwee is the Chief Executive Officer of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) with effect from 1st September 2017. URA is Singapore's national planning agency, responsible for the physical planning and urban development of Singapore. Mr Lim was formerly the Chief Planner and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of URA from 2009 to 2017. He has extensive experience in urban planning, urban design, implementation of land use policies and development initiatives. He also served in the Ministry of National Development and Ministry of Trade and Industry. He served as a member in the Boards of Land Transport Authority, Singapore Cooperation Enterprise and Singapore Science Centre. He currently sits on the Boards of Singapore Tourism Board, National Environment Agency and the International Federation for Housing and Planning. Mr Lim graduated with a Bachelor of Planning from the University of Auckland. He also holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University and attended the Wharton Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Nancy Lin

    Nancy Lin offers 25 years of experience in urban design, architecture, landscape design, construction administration and project management for projects involving collaborations among multi-disciplinary and international teams. As the Director of Operations, Nancy supports the Chief Executive of Global Buildings + Places Business Line to oversee strategic initiatives and business operations. She also leads technical excellence with emphasis on innovation and design solutions that adopt digital technologies. Prior to joining AECOM, Nancy led her own architectural practice in Taiwan and taught for 12 years at Tamkang University, Tunghai University, MinChuan University and National Chiao Tung University. Nancy received her Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, and her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University in the US. Her commitment to strengthening a culture of collaborative innovation across disciplines and across borders among future generations of professionals, underpins her involvement in external initiatives. She was the Associate Curator/Project Coordinator for the Taiwan Pavilion of the 2018 Venice Biennale; juror for Taipei International Design Award 2018 and 2019, the 2020 Program X-Site Competition, and Golden Pin Concept Design Award 2022.     Wanshi Zheng

    Wanshi is responsible for the development and integration of Frasers Property’s group strategy across the diverse businesses and markets the Group operates in, while working in collaboration with the senior leadership team.     Albert Chan

    Director, Shui On Land

    Albert is the Director of Development Planning and Design at Shui On Land (SOL) and Chief Sustainability Officer of the Group. From 1997 onwards, he led the masterplannng and design of SOL “Tiandi” communities, which has received multiple awards from ULI, MIPIM, AIA, CTBUH, World Bank and other organizations. From 1998 to 2001, he led the design effort for the Shanghai Xintiandi development, which became the first development in China to receive the ULI Award for Excellence. Subsequent SOL developments that received the ULI Global and/or Asia Pacific Award for Excellence include Foshan Lingnan Tiandi, Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC), Rui Hong Xin Cheng, Hongqiao Tiandi, and Wuhan Tiandi. Mr. Chan leads the Sustainable Development Department of the Company and is responsible for the objectives and initiatives in sustainability of the Group. All large SOL communities received LEED neighborhood Gold level certifications as well as various building level certifications. Shanghai Xintiandi Community also received world’s first WELL Community certification in 2019. Albert has been a Global Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and chaired the ULI Mainland China Council from 2017-2019. He is a member of the Board of Directors of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Shanghai/Beijing Chapter, is a Chartered member of Royal Insititute of British Achiects (RIBA) and member of RIBA China100.     Ray Lawler

Nielsen is an international leading expert in integrated planning and urban resilience projects from planning to implementation. Nielsen has extensive international experience with management of projects in all scales of urban development and resiliency, including multifunctional and nature-based solutions in an urban context.     Dionne Hoh

    Arun Krishnamurthy

    Founder, The Environmentalist Foundation of India (EFI)

    Arun Krishnamurthy is an Indian environmental activist who has initiated the campaign of cleaning various lakes across India. He is known for founding the Environmentalist Foundation of India (EFI) 2011 based in Chennai which has its branches in 15 states and other cities such as Hyderabad, Delhi and Coimbatore. Arun with the organisation has been successful in cleaning at least 169 lakes in the country and having worked in Google before quitting the job to dedicate voluntarily. He was chosen as among the five people for prestigious Rolex Awards for Enterprise award in 2012 for scientific lake restoration in Chennai.


    Chris Law

    Founding Director, The Oval Partnership, Ltd.

    Chris Law is an acknowledged leading expert and practitioner on sustainable urbanism and neighbourhood development. He is an ardent supporter of community participation and encourages this form of engagement across social, ecological, and economic capital aspects in the placemaking process. Chris founded the Oval Partnership with Patrick Bruce in 1992, and is a director of its subsidiary, the sustainable and smart city action research group INTEGER that develops many ground-breaking initiatives in sustainable development, notably the world’s first in the use of structural laminated bamboo in multi-storey buildings. Under his leadership the Oval Partnership developed the Open City design principle and transmedia narrative methodology, manifested in the award-winning Sanlitun Taikoo Li Beijing and Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu projects. He is member of a number of public sector and third sector committees in Hong Kong . He is a director of the UNESCO award-winning heritage conservation and community participatory Viva Blue House development in Hong Kong, and chairman of the Community Development Committee of the St James' Settlement. He is the chief curator and founder of the public space organization Very Hong Kong and its community land place making initiative Collaborate Hong Kong. The Venice Biennale Hong Kong Pavilion 2012 on urban regeneration of Kowloon East, curated by Chris was selected as the top 5 globally by The Architects’ Journal. A graduate of Stonyhurst College and the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL, Chris' projects have received awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects, The Royal Academy of Arts, The Hong Kong Institute of Architects, The Hong Kong Institute of Planners, The Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design, Urban Land Institute and World Architecture Festival. He was made an honorary member of the American Institute of Architects for his contribution to Architecture. He is a Justice of the Peace of the Hong Kong SAR.


    Daniel Cheng

    Rohan Sikri

    Rohan Sikri is Senior Partner at The Xander Group Inc. In 2005, he co‐founded the firm’s India investment program.     Claire Tang is the Co-Chief Investment Officer for the Asia Pacific region and Head of LaSalle’s Greater China business.     Hwee Ping Teo

He specialises in traffic engineering, microsimulation modelling (pedestrian and vehicle), transport planning, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) engineering. He leads Ramboll's global microsimulation service line, enabling collaboration of simulation modelling experts across the globe to deliver advanced microsimulation modelling solutions for highly complex projects, with a special focus on pedestrian movements through urban and mass transportation environments. Von has completed hundreds projects in transportation engineering, acting as the project manager, technical lead, or key support staff.     Jason Chen

    Director, Place Management, Urban Redevelopment Authority

    Mr Jason Chen is the Director of Place Management at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore’s land use planning and conservation agency with a mission to make Singapore a great city to live, work and play. In his role, he leads a team to drive URA’s efforts in enlivening public spaces, including working with the community on ground-up initiatives. This includes the management of State land, as well as the organisation of events and activities in precincts such as Marina Bay and the Singapore River. Jason’s team also oversees major place management initiatives such as the pilot Business Improvement District programme. Formally appointed as the agency championing Marina Bay’s development, URA organises signature events such as the i Light Singapore sustainable light festival as well as the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown as part of its efforts to activate the precinct and achieve its vision of Marina Bay being a People’s Bay. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore, and a master’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Australia. Before joining URA, Jason held various positions in the private sector and the Singapore Armed Forces.     Jean de Castro

    Jean is a certified BIM Manager by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore.     Joe Chien

    N.H. Seek

    Dr Seek Ngee Huat is Chairman of the Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he is also Provost’s Chair Professor (Practice) of Real Estate. He was previously President of GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd, a Board Director of GIC Private Limited and Chairman of Global Logistic Properties Ltd. He was a Senior Partner at Jones Lang Wootton (now known as Jones Lang LaSalle) before joining GIC. He is the current Lead Independent Director of GLP Capital Partners Limited and a Board Director of Brookfield Corporation Inc. He is also a Senior Advisor to Frasers Property Ltd and the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board and serves on the advisory panel of the Centre for Liveable Cities and of NUS Cities. Dr Seek is a Global Trustee of Urban Land Institute (ULI), a Director of ULI Foundation and a former Chairman of ULI Asia Pacific. He had served on the real estate and business advisory boards of various universities, including Peking, Cambridge, Harvard and Columbia. His other industry appointments included being a Board Director of the Pension Real Estate Association (US) and a Member of the Land Sub-committee of the 2009 Singapore Government Economic Strategy Committee. Dr. Seek was conferred the Singapore Public Administration Gold Medal in 2007, the NUS Outstanding Service Award in 2015 and was inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame in 2022.     Richard Price

As an ex-banker from Citibank and Credit Suisse, she has experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions covering emerging markets in Asia. She is currently serving on the board of Country Group Development PCL and United Hampshire REIT as the only female director as well as the registered charity, Playeum. Selected for her accomplishments and vision, Jaelle is on the Forbes Asia’s Power Businesswomen list for defying stereotypes and breaking down barriers in the industry. Jaelle has been covered in print and broadcast outlets including The Straits Times, CNBC, Chanel New Asia, Money FM and The Edge; and is a frequent speaker at real estate, technology and design conferences covering topics from flexible working to entrepreneurship. When she was 12, she scribbled what would be on her tombstone “She always played her heart out on the field, taking long shots and braving bruises. She was never on the sidelines."     Indranee Rajah

    Minister, Prime Minister's Office Singapore

    Ms Indranee Rajah is the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. She is also Second Minister for Finance, and Second Minister for National Development. Ms Rajah is the Leader of the House for the 14th Parliament. She has been a Member of Parliament for the Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency (GRC) since 2001. She is a Senior Counsel, and was a practising lawyer before joining Government. Ms Rajah assists in the oversight of the National Population and Talent Division in the Prime Minister’s Office. Under her Finance portfolio, Ms Rajah is involved in the development of the Government’s fiscal policies. She also oversees the Professional Services Programme Office (PSPO), to develop and promote the legal and accounting industries in Singapore and catalyse the internationalisation of such professional services; and Infrastructure Asia, the Singapore government platform that connects infrastructure demand and supply in the region. As Second Minister for National Development, she is involved in the formulation of Singapore’s housing and development polices. She also assists in overseeing The Centre for Liveable Cities and the World Cities Summit; The professional services in the built environment sector; Review of Singapore’s long-term land-use planning for urban development; Strategies for sustainable housing; and Policies guiding Singapore's transformation into a City in Nature. Ms Rajah is also involved in the Forward Singapore exercise, as one of the Ministers overseeing the Care pillar. This pillar explores how to enable every Singaporean to lead a dignified and fulfilling life, and to better care for themselves and other around them. Forward Singapore is a collective effort between the Government and Singaporeans, to refresh Singapore’s social compact and set out a roadmap for the next decade and beyond.

    Tiffany Lau is the Founder and Principal of A P A R T Companies, an advisory, project management and development firm with a base in Hong Kong & New York City, focused on repositioning and redeveloping commercial real estate for clients including Hongkong Land, and YTL. She has 18 years of experience within the real estate industry, and was previously an Executive Director and Head of Urban Ecosystems for JLL (NYSE: JLL) in Asia Pacific, where she led a regional team focused on repositioning and future-proofing strategies for the portfolios and precincts of MTR, Frasers, and Hang Seng Bank among others.     With 8 years of professional expertise in the public sector and real estate consulting, Dionne serves as global topic lead for real estate under BCG’s Infrastructure, Transport and Cities team. Prior to BCG, Dionne was a Senior Manager of Capital Markets and Investment Services at Colliers International, identifying opportunities for investment across various real estate sectors and geography, driving the growth of Colliers International’s business. She was also an Executive Planner at the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore where she was a key member of the Jurong Lake District master planning team. Before that, she was Manager of the Centre for Liveable Cities, where she authored several think pieces on new land use concepts and urban mobility. Dionne holds an Honours degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore and is passionate about mentoring young talents who have an interest in joining the real estate industry.


    Angela Lee

    Angela lee is a Shareholder and Regional Managing Director for HKS. She is responsible for business development in Asia Pacific, as well as overseeing design quality for developments in markets including MENA, China, India, Australia and New Zealand. Over her 30-year career in HKS, Angela has experience designing for various typologies including Sports, Hospitality and Commercial. However, she has found her calling in designing for healthcare settings such as hospitals and senior living facilities and participated in the design and planning of over 1.5 million square meters of healthcare projects worldwide. Angela’s projects have been honored with design awards from both the American Institute of Architects and Modern Healthcare, and recognized in publications such as Design and Architecture, Healthcare Design and Health Facilities Management. Angela is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and serves on the Urban Land Institute, WIL Steering Committee.     Adam Fowler

    Adam Fowler has more than a decade of experience developing real estate in Vietnam, having joined Ecopark Corporation in 2011 to contribute to the growth of the Ecopark Hung Yen project from a 500-hectare green-field site to a vibrant and internationally acclaimed master-planned community of more than 25,000 homes and growing. He fulfilled a variety of roles for Ecopark Corporation, including: overseeing the company’s commercial property business, leading the development of key sub-projects, and executing a number of strategic partnerships and joint venture investments with top international partners such as Nomura Real Estate.     Blake Olafson is a Founding Partner of ACRE , a Private Equity firm with over US$ 3 Billion of AUM. He has spent 30 years in the real estate industry covering all aspects of the direct investment process including origination, underwriting, risk control, and creation of unique deal structures and exits.     Pamela Ambler

    Pamela heads up the newly created Investor Intelligence program, partnering closely with JLL’s regional Capital Markets and Research teams, advising and interacting with its existing and future client base. Core to her role is the delivery of JLL Capital Markets data and intelligence, geographic and sectoral research, and articulation of the firm’s broader investment advisory strategy. She coordinates JLL’s market-leading capital analysis and research products, data programs and provides timely external commentary on topical real estate investment and macroeconomic themes. Pamela joins JLL from regional broadcaster CNA where she presented and produced global and regional business and economic news.     Rui Hua Chang

    Managing Director, Business Management and Investment, ESR Hong Kong

    Rui Hua heads the Hong Kong business and investment for ESR and reports directly to co-founders and co-CEOs Jeffrey Shen and Stuart Gibson. She focuses on driving ESR’s business in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area as well as investment into new economy assets. In May 2021, she co-led and completed ESR’s first data center acquisition in Hong Kong and in July 2022, she won ESR’s first logistic land bid in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong. Concurrently, she is also appointed as the Executive Director and Responsible Officer for the fund management arm ESR HKAM and is responsible for raising new funds to invest in new economy assets. Rui Hua joined ESR in 1st September 2019 as the Group Head of Capital Markets and Investor Relations. She was part of the IPO team which successfully listed ESR on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 1st November 2019. Rui Hua was also part of the ESR deal team that acquired ARA Asset Management Limited with US$5.2 billion, which was one of Hong Kong’s largest M&A in 2021. In May 2022, Rui Hua led the sell-down of ESR’s CNLP stake which delivered about US$800 million gain. Before joining ESR, Rui Hua was the General Manager and Head of Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, and Corporate Planning for CapitaLand China where she was involved in fund raising from local Chinese & foreign institutional investors, capital markets and corporate finance deals, and strategic planning and direction. She also led the sell-down of CapitaLand’s S$500 million stake in a Hong Kong listed real estate company in June 2019. Prior to her stint in China, she was the Group Head of CapitaLand’s Investor Relations and Capital Markets Compliance based in Singapore, managing institutional and public investors; interfacing with regulators on corporate governance, REITs regulation and disclosure matters; and handling key proxy providers. Rui Hua joined CapitaLand Limited in 2013 as the Assistant Vice President, Group CFO’s Office. She structured and executed CapitaLand’s key strategic projects such as privatisation of CapitaMalls Asia, and corporate finance projects like issuing and repurchasing convertible bonds. Besides extensive real estate experience, Rui Hua also has vast investment banking experience with China International Capital Corporation and DBS Bank Ltd. She raised more than S$7.5 billion from the capital markets and many high-profile IPOs of international companies in Singapore such as Tiger Airways and Xinren Aluminum. In 2022, Rui Hua won the Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Award – Executive of the Year for Logistics. She also led the ESR team to win various IR Magazine Awards in 2022, 2021 and 2020 for Greater China region. In 2017, Rui Hua was also voted as “Asia’s Best Investor Relations Professional (Property)” 1st place for overall and sell-side in Institutional Investors’ 2017 All-Asia Executive Team Ranking. Previously, she was also named the “Best Investor Relations Officer (For Large Cap Companies)” in the IR Magazine Awards Southeast Asia 2017 and 2015.     Connor Teskey

    President, Brookfield Asset Management

    Connor Teskey is President of Brookfield Asset Management. He is also the head of Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition business and Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Renewable Partners. In this role, he is responsible for investments, operations and the expansion of the Renewable Power & Transition business. Mr. Teskey is also Brookfield’s Head of Europe, with responsibility for overseeing the Firm’s business activities in the region.     Jeffrey Jaensubhakij

    Group Chief Investment Officer, GIC

    Dr Jeffrey Jaensubhakij was appointed Group Chief Investment Officer in January 2017. He oversees GIC’s total investment portfolio, and works with investment group heads to manage and monitor investment activities across all asset classes. He also leads the development of short- and long-term investment policies to optimize the risk-reward of the total portfolio across changing investment environments. He joined GIC in 1998 as a Senior Economist covering the US economy and was subsequently appointed Co-Head of Asset Allocation Strategy in the Economics and Strategy Department. He was Head of Total Return Equities and the US Equities teams based in GIC’s New York Office from 2003 to 2011. He was subsequently appointed President, Europe in 2011 coordinating GIC’s investment activities in Europe across public and private asset classes, President, Public Markets and Director of Public Equities in 2013, and Deputy Group Chief Investment Officer in 2016.     Emi Kiyota

    Deputy Executive Director, Centre for Population Health, National University of Singapore

    Dr Emi Kiyota is an Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and College of Design and Engineering, and Deputy Executive Director, Centre for Population Health at the National University of Singapore. She is an environmental gerontologist with more than 20 years of experience in designing and implementing person-centred care in long-term care facilities and hospitals globally. In addition to making a vast array of contributions to national and international initiatives focused on quality improvement in the built environment for long-term care and ageing services, Dr Kiyota holds great concern for the needs of elders in low-middle income countries. In 2010, she founded charitable organisation Ibasho, dedicated to co-creating socially integrated, sustainable communities that value their elders, embodying in the Japanese concept of a place where one feels at home being oneself. Her current focus is on creating socially integrated and resilient cities where elders are engaged and able to actively participate in their communities. Dr Kiyota is currently based in Singapore and looking into incorporating Ibasho into the Health District@Queenstown. The pilot programme aims to design an age-friendly community by creating integrated solutions to enhance the health and well-being of residents across their life stages.


    Linda Yueh, CBE
