Construction projects are complex undertakings that involve significant amounts of money, take considerable time for construction, regularly experience schedule delays, and often suffer cost overrun. As such, they require close management and control. The purpose of this training course is to introduce the principles and techniques used for planning, scheduling, and control of construction projects.
The course focuses on understanding the elements of the Critical Path Method (CPM) as applied in construction management. The steps of the CPM phases of planning, scheduling, and control will be explained in detail with how they are implemented in projects.
This course is part of our Construction Fundamentals Package.
