The Urban Land Institute – ULI South Korea is seeking to recruit a coordinator to support the organisation in a range of activities including members engagement, administration and event coordination.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong communications skills who will act as the first point of contact with a range of stakeholders to ensure the successful representation of ULI to its members, and the industry generally.
ULI South Korea supports flexible working arrangements. This role may be undertaken within a shared office arrangement, or from a home office with varying hours depending on workload and events and the need for face-to-face meetings.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Support and Customer Service
- Manage the full range of administrative activities required for ULI South Korea.
- Administer the formal meeting process including scheduling meetings, coordinating meeting materials, taking minutes and ensuring committee and attendee lists are accurately maintained.
- Act as the primary point of contact for member/customer enquiries and manage the ULI South Korea mailboxes and general correspondence.
- Manage the membership database and run reports on membership status.
- Assist in maintaining member and nonmember profiles with accurate contact information and email preferences.
- Prepare and manage event budgets as required.
- Coordinate payment arrangements for local vendors by working closely with Asia Pacific Head Office.
Marketing Communications and Event Management
- Manage the South Korea National Council website content.
- Manage the process of event marketing and communication of events to the membership using ULI’s content management systems, including, but not limited to the following – website, EDM, social media channels.
- Support local programs both for setup and production and with tasks during and following events, such as event planning and logistics, handling enquiries and registrations, preparing name badges, post-event communications and follow up, and processing event-specific invoices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English.
- Experience with event management, digital marketing and social media in South Korea is preferred.
- International firm experience with English as the major language of communication will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and PowerPoint. Knowledge of
- Photoshop or graphic design skills, a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, to handle multiple tasks concurrently and completely, with responsible follow-through.
- Detail-minded, strong communication and time management skills.
- Copywriting skills are desirable.
- Able to work under flexible hours.
- At least 1 year of experience in event planning, nonprofit management, or a related field. Experience with local real estate and land use issues is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
