Please join us for the inaugural Urban Land Institute (ULI) Mainland China Annual Meeting in Shanghai on November 29, 2012. This event is designed to bring together many of over 120 ULI Members and friends based in mainland China for an afternoon of insightful speeches and discussions, followed by a cocktail party in the evening.
In mainland China, ULI members come from various backgrounds related to the real estate industry such as developers, architects, academics, investors, and service providers. Many of them hold senior positions in leading development and investment companies as well as consultancies and are recognized as industry leaders. We also expect ULI members based in regions such as Hong Kong to participate in the event.
The annual meeting will take place from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm in PwC’s Shanghai Center located at 2 Corporate Avenue, 202 Hu Bin Road, Huangpu District. The cocktail party will be held after the meeting from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at One Xintiandi, an exclusive private club located in Xintiandi. The annual meeting’s program will consist of:
- Keynote speech by a leading mainland Chinese developer
- Panel discussion on the topic of meeting consumers’ growing demand for high quality
- Presentation on a recent ULI Awards for Excellence winning project
- Panel discussion on the current financing environment
- Announcement of Emerging Trends in Real Estate® Asia Pacific 2013
- Panel discussion to respond to the Emerging Trends report’s key findings
Simultaneous translation in English and Chinese will be provided throughout the meeting.

Current ULI Members will receive priority registration and will be admitted to the meeting and the cocktail party free of charge. Non-Members will be required to pay 400 RMB registration fee per person, but if non-member participants join ULI as member before the end of this year, the registration fee paid for this event will be credited to the membership payment.
